We only do two things,

but we try to do them really well.

Love God

We didn’t invent the church. Jesus did that. He called the church his “bride”. It means that Jesus and the church are inseparable. He gave us two great commandments to follow, but there was one he said was the greatest of all; “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.” (Luke 10:27) That’s quite the job! But it’s the only thing that makes sense when we look at what God first did for us. Our only possible response is to love Him with everything we are.

Love People

And the other great commandment? “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27) It’s that simple! But it’s not always easy. Maybe you don’t think God could ever love someone “like you”, and even if He could, those “church people” certainly couldn’t. Well, guess what. We are a church full of people “like you”. At some point, every one of us has done something that we thought disqualified us from the love of God. And yet, He continues to love us anyway. And because He first loved us, we will continue to love you, no matter who you are or what you’ve done. We believe you belong.
